Cyanotype Printing
Date: 15th Jun 2024
Time: 2pm to 3.30pm
Location: Wisbech & Fenland Museum
In this workshop, led by artist Karen Avilez, you will explore how to create successful compositions for cyanotype printing using pressed flowers, leaves, feathers, and other objects before exposing them to UV light to fix your design in place.
Cyanotype is an environmentally friendly photographic process almost 200 years old. It was first used to create botanical prints and later adopted by architects as a simple way of copying designs.
At the end of the 1.5 hour session you will leave with a range of unique prints created by you.
Suitable for ages 16+
