Museum Library Open Day!
One of our many open days to view the Museums’ stunning library. Works of History, Biography, Medicine, Travel and Exploration. And view the original manuscript of Great Expectations.
Dinosaurs! in partnership with the Sedgwick Museum in Cambridge.
There will be a really exciting community art event - visitors can decorate a bone to build ‘Ichthyo’ or ‘Ichy’ the ichthyosaur/ichthyosaurus, which will eventually hang in the main gallery!
Additionally, as part of Summer at the museums (UCM festival) there will be artist-led dinosaur themed family-friendly workshops.
Wisbech will hold its annual Rose Fair and Flower Festival on 4th-7th July this year.
The museum takes to the streets with pop up stalls (collections handling kits, museum shop, second hand book stall).
Town churches will be open to visitors with the largest flower displays at St. Peter and St. Paul’s church.
There will be stalls in the church garden and two Festival street Parades on Saturday 7th July.
