Closed Sundays and Mondays

Wisbech & Fenland Museum is in north Cambridgeshire, 40 miles north of Cambridge and under 20 miles from Kings Lynn and Peterborough.

Wheelchair Access

Level Entrance: There is level access to the Museum via Wilderness Walk. From the main entrance on Museum Square turn right onto the Cresent, right onto Market Street and right into Wilderness Walk to reach this entrance. Ring the doorbell.

Lift: The Museum has a lift giving access to all main display areas.

Toilet: There is an accessible toilet near the level entrance.

Services and Facilities

Gift Shop:
The Museum shop offers a range of items to suit all pockets, for example: stationery, small fossils and minerals, postcards and books about the local area.

Where to Eat:
The Museum does not have a cafe, but there are several close by in the town centre.

Toilets:
There is a toilet on on the lower ground floor in the Hudson Wing.

Parenting Room:
There are parenting facilities in the Accessible Toilet on the lower ground floor of the Hudson Wing.

Group Visits

Free guided tours are available by appointment. To book a tour please ring 01945 583817, or email info@wisbechmuseum.org.uk.

The nearest drop off point for vehicles including coaches is The Crescent. The nearest (free) parking is in Somers Road car park or Church Terrace car park.

We do not have a designated lunch room, but where possible we can offer the Education Room for this purpose. If fine, small groups can have lunch in the park adjacent to the Museum.
